Isar Aerospace appoints Alexander Oelling as new Chief Digital Officer
We are happy to announce that Alexander Oelling has joined Isar Aerospace as Chief Digital Officer effective 1 January 2023. With his impressive combination of experience from growth companies and unique skills in the field of digitalization, Alexander will support Isar Aerospace's scaling along the company's integrated value chain.

Promoting future-proof digital solutions along Isar Aerospace’s vertically integrated value chain
In his new role, Alexander will use his entrepreneurial and technical skills to promote future-proof digital solutions along Isar Aerospace’s vertically integrated value chain and operating launch services. Moreover, he will ensure the digitalization of all processes and operations in the company and shape the IT-architecture.

Connecting tech entrepreneurship with digital strategizing
Alexander’s background connects tech entrepreneurship with digital strategizing. As the initiator of VoloIQ, a Digital Backend for Airlines and founder of property tech digitalization firm Sensorberg, he demonstrated not only expertise in the tech industry, but also brings profound experience from founding and scaling tech companies. Most recently, he served as CDO at Volocopter leading the digitization of the aerospace industry.
